In June 2026, the SPF Board of Directors gathered to bid farewell to long-time member Jean Bacon.

As the longest-serving Board member, involved in a variety of roles for over 25 years, Jean has been an exceptionally active, dedicated, and outstanding volunteer.

As an educator and special needs consultant, Jean shared her expertise and deep understanding of the importance of early learning. Always a strong advocate for young children and for SPF, she has truly made a difference.

After living and working in Saskatoon for most of her life, Jean has recently moved to BC to enjoy more time with her family.

We thank her for her exceptional commitment to SPF and wish her all the best in this new chapter!
