It was very interesting to know that she knew how to do this even at her age<\/strong>\u00a0\u2026 I hope [the preschool tuition subsidy] continues in the coming days ahead.\u00a0 A lot more families and their children are benefitted with this project.\u00a0 Thanks again for all your help.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>A mom who was a newcomer to Canada told us that her daughter \u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;knew only a few words when she started school.\u00a0 She used to point with her hand to explain what she wanted.\u00a0<strong>Now she can speak English [very well].\u00a0 She is more confident and more social<\/strong>.\u00a0One day she was singing all the months and letters and we were surprised because we had never taught her that.\u00a0 She showed interest in drawing and can sit for hours drawing different pictures for us.\u00a0 When we go to the park, she says hello to other children and introduces herself and asks their name, so she is better at socializing.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preschool teachers also report changes they see in the children.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>One preschool teacher shared with us that a Kindergarten teacher remarked during the first month of kindergarten that she knew which children had been to preschool.<\/strong>\u00a0The preschool teacher said she just had to ask how she knew that.\u00a0The kindergarten teacher said,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8216;The children who attended preschool tend to be more independent, they have strong skills in literacy and numeracy and the transition into Kindergarten is just easier.&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The preschool teacher went on to say that some of the preschoolers had &#8220;areas of concern&#8221; that they worked on improving throughout the preschool year.\u00a0 When they entered Kindergarten, their teacher let her know that all the hard work paid off!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Some of those students were part of our preschool thanks to the tuition subsidy provided by the Saskatoon Preschool Foundation!\u00a0 What a gift that keeps on giving &#8211; from child, to family, to teacher and beyond!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-833c7a3 inner-donate-pod elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"833c7a3\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-no\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-901ef83 donate-img\" data-id=\"901ef83\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a3e9bd3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"a3e9bd3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*!
